ORDER & DELIVERY
Orders will be dispatched via TOLL priority with 3-5 working days from artwork approval. (sooner if workload permits)
As your order is being delivered by courier (Monday to Friday only) we prefer to deliver to a work address where possible where it can be received and stored safely.
Delivery to apartments and flats can be difficult for couriers if there is no one home and no where safe to leave the package.
Unlike other online digital offset printers, Composite Colour does not delay orders for Business Cards by holding orders for Business Cards until they reach a certain quantity.
When your business cards order is submitted to us, it goes straight to our HP Indigo 7800 Press where your business cards are printed and dispatched to you as soon as possible.
Composite Colour uses TOLL priority to ensure that your order reaches you quickly, normally within 3-5 working days of your business cards order being submitted to us.

- All Text and Images (for best results 300dpi at the required size).

- An example of your existing design, or a design/theme that you like.
- A list of colours you like / require.

BLEED
Artwork supplied without bleed cannot be used and will need to be re-supplied with bleed added.
WHAT IS BLEED
Bleed is a 3mm margin added to each edge of the final printed size of your job.
All background images, colours, patterns and artwork elements which extend to the trim edge must also extend to the external bleed edge.
WHY IS BLEED IMPORTANT
A bleed margin is required so that cards don't have white edges after trimming.
SAFE ZONE
With the exception of elements that need to extend out to the bleed edge (see above) important content, text, logos etc should not be placed too close to the trim edge.
We recommend that a greater than 3mm 'safe zone' margin be applied to your art.
IMAGE RESOLUTION (Quality)
Make sure that all images and rasterized text are 300dpi and placed at 100% so that they won't look blurry or pixilated when printed.
Solid blacks should be 'Rich Black' 40%C, 40%M, 40%Y, 100%Black.
SAVING YOUR FILES
Don't flatten your layers or image before saving - doing so will reduce your print quality.
Save your art as a 'Press Quality' PDF. Ensure that bleed is enabled under your pdf settings.
